Retirement of Eric Kraushaar

For over 25 years, Eric Kraushaar has been a fixture in the Kitchener-Waterloo legal community.  In particular, Eric dedicated himself to providing quality legal services to his clients, in the areas of real estate law, wills/estates and corporate law, from his office in Waterloo with enduring fortitude and distinction.

I was fortunate to join Eric M. Kraushaar Law Office as an associate lawyer about a year ago, as we shared a common desire and philosophy to provide personable and informative assistance to our clients. Indeed, it is this desired commitment that may have played a role in Eric M. Kraushaar Law Office receiving the top Diamond award in the Best Law Firm category of the 2017 Waterloo Chronicle Readers’ Choice Awards.  We certainly thank our clients for this recognition and for their support.

On February 28, 2018, Eric Kraushaar officially retired from private practice to pursue another venture and has entrusted his clients and his files to my care. This includes the ongoing storage of any Wills, Power of Attorney documents, and corporate minute books that may have been left with Mr. Kraushaar. In carrying on the practice under my new office identity, Chan Law, I am committed to continuing the level of excellent client service that Eric’s clients have come to expect over the years. I would welcome the opportunity to personally meet with any client who may have utilized Eric’s services in the past, with the desire to build our own trusted connection in the service of a client’s future legal needs.
